“Running cross-country really helped to sculpt my character, in that it taught me how to work hard while having fun at the same time. I had to endure many grueling early morning workouts, but I learned that experiences as tough as these are usually the most rewarding should you muster up the willpower to endure them.  Now that I’m going off into the world, this experience will hopefully translate into me being able to push through anything, all while having a good attitude.”
